Anxious:
- Mother had “mini-stroke” last week
- Caused temporary loss of speech & slight weakness right hand
- Full recovery after 24 hours
- Tonight relatives noticed speech slurred again
- No other symptoms. No weakness. No headaches etc
- “worried if she is going to have a stroke”
PMH:
- Own gp saw her last week
- Put on aspirin 75mg/ day
- On bendrofluazide for mild hypertension
- Otherwise normally fit/independent
SH:
- Lives alone
- Home help – in mornings
- Daughter/son – pop in daily
