You are the boyfriend of Nancy, a 19-year-old girl.
She has a terrible sore throat and is miserable. She has been sick once. She became unwell the day before. You have to go to work at 0700. She will then be left alone. You are worried about her. Also, she has had to have time off already this month and her boss is not pleased with her.
Your parents have always warned against going out with a temperature.
You want her visited, in part because her boss will want a certificate. and in part, because you feel bad about leaving her. You are concerned something else might develop.
